Why comparing this three? Because i only have this three account type.
All three is a Saving Account that can hold foreign currency.
Fee
HSBC Everyday Global Account-i
- No transaction fee (if have sufficient balance in foreign currency account, else 1% conversion fee)
- No withdrawal fee on HSCB Network ATMs (if have sufficient balance in foreign currency account)
- VISA PLUS Withdrawal fee RM10 (or equivalent foreign currency) (if have sufficient balance in foreign currency account, else, +1% conversion fee)
- Debit Card Annual/Issuance Fee – Waived
- Telegraphic Transfer fee – (depend on foreign currency. eg USD 4 + cable charges)
Hong Leong Wallet-i
- No Transaction fee – the TnC and FAQ is not clear, but supposedly if have sufficient foreign currency balance in account, no conversion fee impose. To experiment this, I have tried topup Melbourne Opal Card with AUD, no fee.
- VISA PLUS / Mastercard Cirrus Withdrawal fee RM12 (or fixed equivalent of foreign currency ) or 2% of withdrawal amount, whichever higher
- Debit Card Annual/Issuance Fee – RM8


RHB Multi Currency Account
- No transaction fee (no conversion fee impose if have sufficient balance in foreign currency account)
- VISA PLUS / Mastercard Cirrus Withdrawal fee RM12
- Debit Card Annual Fee/Issuance Fee – RM20
- Foreign Telegraphic Transfer (Outward/Debit) – USD10 or equivalent, perform via RHB Branch
- Foreign Telegraphic Transfer (Inward/Credit) – No conversion or fee
